The Royal Hawaiian, completed and opened in 1927, was frequented by celebrities and world dignitaries, with the likes of Doris Duke, Shirley Temple, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio, Duke Kahanamoku, famed US presidents, and also known as a military R & R hub during World War II.

Aaron has been working on the beach with Waikīkī Beach Services for over a decade, and captures the true essence of aloha and Waikīkī in his imagery. With a special appreciation for the history of the Royal Hawaiian and beachboy lineage, he creates these images out of a true love for working on the beach right out front of the pink palace, and sharing this aloha with guests daily.
